• Passengers coming from Afghanistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, Brazil, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and those who have been in these countries in the last 14 days will only be able to enter Turkish territory by presenting a negative PCR test performed in the 72 hours prior to the trip, and will be subjected to a 14-day quarantine in places previously designated by the Turkish authorities. After the quarantine period, they will have to perform a new PCR test which, if positive, will determine the fulfillment of an additional 14-day isolation period which will only end with a negative PCR test performed on the last day.
  • Passengers from Egypt, Iran, the United Kingdom and Singapore must have a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours prior to travel.
  • All other passengers, coming from countries other than those mentioned above, with a document issued by the competent authorities, proving that they were vaccinated in the last 14 days or have had COVID-19 in the last 6 months, will be exempt from presenting a negative PCR test. In the event that they do not have these documents, they will then have to submit a negative PCR test performed within 72 hours prior to the trip or a negative rapid antigen test performed within 48 hours before entering Türkiye.
  • With the exception of passengers coming from the countries mentioned in the first point, all passengers may also be subject to random tests where, in case of a positive result, the containment measures described above and determined by the Turkish health authorities will apply.
  • Passengers who have had contact with people with positive tests, will be subjected to a quarantine of 14 days in places designated by them, which may end in case of negative PCR test performed on the tenth day of that period.
  • For passengers infected with variant B.1.617 (Indian strain), the quarantine period must end with a negative PCR test performed on the 14th day.
  • Aircraft and ship crews and TIR truck drivers are exempt from these restrictions on entry into Türkiye.
